Citizenship Preparation Classes

Eligibility

Individuals must have lived in Canada for a total of 3 years out of the 4 years immediately before applying for citizenship.

Course Description

This class prepares adults between the ages of 18 and 54 for the new version of the Canadian citizenship test.  It covers topics such as  rights and responsibilities, social and cultural history, politics and geography.

Course Dates

The course runs for six weeks and is offered by both school boards at various sites throughout the school year.
